Martelly Undergoes Successful Surgery on Right Shoulder in Miami

Haitian president Michel Martelly arrives in Port au Prince after returning November 3, 2011 to Haiti after a 10 day medical visit to the United States. A source close to the president told AFP on condition of anonymity that Martelly, a popular former singer who took office earlier this year, was 'due to undergo shoulder surgery.'

Haitian President Michel Martelly has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder in Miami and will spend the next few days in South Florida recovering.
